"Red Hat...on Monday said it agreed to provide on-site consulting and technical services to AutoZone part of the auto parts retailer's plans to install a Linux software-based terminal system in its 2,800 stores."

"Shares of Red Hat surged to a record high of 249 before settling at 245-1/4, up 31-3/4 or 15 percent, on the Nasdaq stock market, where it was the biggest net gainer."
