"Finnish Software Engineering (SOT) launched an international version of its Best Linux distribution Wednesday, with an eye on the home user market. SOT, a privately owned company little known outside of Scandinavia, claims Best is the most widely-used version of Linux in the open-source operating system's native land of Finland."

"Wholly-owned by CEO Santeri Kannisto, the company is in ongoing discussions with potential investors. "We have some pretty good offers," he said...."

"Kannisto claimed Best Linux is the only commercial distribution to actively go after the home user. Most versions of the Linux operating system are used in development, webservering and by the more technically literate."
