'Slackware Linux Inc.' To Be Spun Off As Separate Company

The details are sparse, but the Slackware Linux Web site proclaims that Slackware Linux, Inc. will be spun off as a separate company from Walnut Creek CD-ROM in the near future, adding to the list of Linux distributions going public. More details as we get them....

Only a brief note on the slackware home page (10 March 2000):
"We will be spinning merrily off to form a separate company--
Slackware Linux, Inc. Interesting times are ahead, friends..."
