"The wireless LAN system at Burlington features Telxon's OpenAirGATE and AirBEAM wireless network management software running on a Red Hat Linux in-store software-based system. Each store is being equipped with Telxon PTC-960SL mobile computers, wireless cash registers and fixed-position workstations. In the stores where the system is currently installed, Burlington is running multiple end-user mobile applications, including receiving, price look-up, price changes, and store transfers.
