"Red Hat, the leader in open source Internet infrastructure solutions, announced today that it is the first Linux solution provider to join the Intel Server Applications Enabling Program. As part of the program, Red Hat will help Intel develop a "cookbook" of pre-packaged Internet server application recipes optimized for Intel's Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)."
""We are pleased to join Intel's Server Applications Enabling Program, which delivers the unmatched open source expertise of Red Hat to Intel's channel of OEMs," said Matthew Szulik, president and CEO of Research Triangle, N.C.-based Red Hat, Inc. "By working with Intel to develop packaged Internet solutions, we can further accelerate the adoption of Red Hat Linux and other open source technologies in Internet and enterprise computing infrastructures."
