"Sun has hit on a compelling business strategy when it bought
Star Division and decided to give customers choice with respect to
Star Office: give it away free or for a price get it on CD with
some additional documentation."
"How compelling is Sun's business model? Enough to convince
Suite602 to give away its suite free of charge for commercial and
on-commercial use while you pay for the add ons. Power desk
offers a similar choice: download a free edition or for a nominal
price get the deluxe edition on CD."
