"...Learning Python is an introductory book. As I said in my previous column, I have tried learning C from a book and failed miserably, so trying a Python book to learn my language of choice filled me with a little trepidation. My attempts to learn programming from books have failed miserably before, and I had no reason to think this book would work any better."
