Reuters: Cowpland to advise British e-commerce firm

"Former Corel Corp. chief executive Michael Cowpland has been
named a director at a British Internet commerce company and will
play a key role in developing DealCommodity's business plans, its
chief executive told Reuters on Tuesday."
"It is Cowpland's second appointment since resigning from
troubled software developer Corel in August. He will help
DealCommodity develop a technology and business development
strategy...."
"Cowpland, who founded Corel and co-founded Mitel Corp. , said
this summer that he was leaving Corel to work with small companies
developing technology around Linux, an open-source operating
system."
