"Hitachi Ltd. launched a new Internet appliance terminal model with an embedded wireless LAN function as a member of the Internet terminal family 'FLORA-ie 55mi' for business purposes."

"The model is equipped with the low-power CPU 'Crusoe' and a type of Linux OS 'Midori Linux,' both of which were developed by Transmeta Corp. of the United States."

"Hitachi will tailor the model according to specifications requirements from clients on delivering it. A standard type is priced at 152,800 yen."
