An osOpinion columnist defends the use of WINE:

"Win32 applications obviously do not appeal to the more dogmatic in the Linux community. But some of us recognize their continued relevance and appreciate projects like WINE, which address it. As so much does in the open-source world, it all boils downs to choice.

This was written on WordPerfect for Linux, thanks to WINE. Yes, I could have used StarOffice, but it's not good enough for my particular office suite needs.
