SuSE Linux Announces Workforce Reductions

Oakland, CALIFORNIA - July, 20th 2001 -- SuSE Linux AG, the international technology leader and solutions provider in Open Source operating system software, announced a 10% reduction in the company's current workforce. The restructuring, predominantly in the non-technical areas, will take place in various locations around Germany. Approximately fifty employees are affected by the announcement, which is a direct response to recent economic trends in the overall IT industry.
