LinuxHardware is back with a second look at the Pentium 4,
pitting it against the Athlon in MP3 encoding and Unreal Tournament
performance. A slight edge in performance seems to be offset by a
notable price difference:
"Well after all the hype over the Pentium 4 review, we
felt that we would stoke the fire a bit more with a couple new
benchmarks and the much talked about price verses performance
comparison. This will be quick and hopefully painless. Those of you
that are a bit sensitive about the Athlon though may want to
prepare yourselves a bit. In this extension, we take a look at
Unreal Tournament and MP3 encoding."
