Real Video Coverage of UK DMCA/Sklyarov Demonstration
Aug 03, 2001, 23:34 (12 Talkback[s])
Alan Cox wrote in to let us know about the BBC's coverage of the
UK protests against the arrest of Dmitriy Sklyarov:
"Newsnight covered the UK Sklyarov protest (skip about
twenty minutes into the feed). Sadly the EFF presenter suffered a
mysterious loss of satellite link during the debate, but the rest
is worth listening to, esepecially the pro DMCA speaker attempting
not to answer the question about the way Adobe are preventing the
blind from accessing their eBooks and making criminals of any who
try."
