LinuxDevices.com: Free Software Foundation & FSMLabs resolve GPL dispute

"According to Eben Moglen, general counsel of the Free Software Foundation (FSF), "the FSF and FSMLabs have reached an agreement in principal on a fully GPL compatible license for RTLinux." The revised license is expected to be published by FSMLabs within the next one to two days.

When contacted by LinuxDevices.com for confirmation, FSMLabs president Victor Yodaiken said, "were happy to have this settled and go back to our business. There seems to have been some miscommunication, and it's good to see that we can get past it."

"There will be some minor changes to the license. They are changes that we had basically agreed to last year, which somehow got lost in the shuffle," added Yodaiken."
