MandrakeSoft announces the availability of the third Beta of Mandrake Linux 8.1 for Intel Itanium Architecture. The Itanium 64-bit architecture is used for servers and computers which run highly demanding business applications, such as large database, ERM/CRM applications or high performance computing.

With the upcoming Mandrake Linux 8.1 for Itanium-based architecture, MandrakeSoft will provide businesses with a robust and scalable Linux solution for high performance computing.
