"Not everyone can afford a top of the line SMP system, such as the Athlon XP 1800 rig we reviewed recently. If one wanted to venture into the land of the unsupported, the Duron or Celeron would be a possibility. But we wanted to see what could be done with a Pentium 3, which is the only officially supported SMP option that would fit into the budget realm.
