"Despite the small problems with the modem and the
Ethernet card, which will indeed only affect a minimum of users,
and which can easily be fixed, I believe SuSE has done a great job
on SuSE Linux 7.3, and the relatively long period between 7.1 and
7.3 was worth waiting. My overall experience of SuSE 7.3 was VERY
positive and it is the first time in 5 years that I am using the
default kernel of a distribution without feeling the urge need to
replace it by one of my own compiles.
Considering all the positive aspects of SuSE Linux, rapidity,
stability, ease of use, enourmous amount of included software, the
manuals and last but not least the free 60 day installation
support, I think SuSE Linux has made its way to being the best
retail Linux distribution currently available for PowerPC
machines."
