Announce: Beginner Level Linux Programming Courses Now FreeDec 11, 2001, 07:35 (3 Talkback[s])Bob Findlay writes: I have always believed that for Linux to succeed in the marketplace it will need trained developers as well as trained system admin types. A couple of years ago I partnered with a former teacher to setup a set of online begineer programmer training courses. (www.icanprogram.com) One of those courses was "Intro to Linux Programming". Unfortunately, my partner recently lost her 7 battle with cancer. In her memory we have decided to make all the iCanProgram courses (including the Intro to Linux) free in return for a voluntary donation to your favorite cancer research charity. The Linux course is fully facilitated over 8 weekly lessons. A course mailing list allows you to query the facilitator and the other students over the 8 week period. A new Linux course will be starting up every month beginning in Jan 2002 provided there is a minimum enrollment of at least 6 students. Please feel free to check out the iCanProgram.com website for further details. 0 Talkback[s]
