"Here is a summary of how I installed Oracle 9i (9.0.1) Database on Red Hat 7.1 (kernel 2.4.2-2) and on Red Hat 7.2 (kernel 2.4.7-10). For more information (kernel parameter tuning, etc.) check the official Oracle documentation Oracle9i Database Documentation for Linux.

NOTE: Red Hat 7.1 has been validated for Oracle9i Database and for Oracle9i Application Server... But as of December 2001, there has been no validation for Red Hat 7.2 yet."
