MandrakeSoft Reports Strong Increase in Consolidated Revenues in Second Quarter

After an almost stable first quarter Q1, compared to the same
period of the previous year, MandrakeSoft has seen a significant
rise in sales in the second quarter Q2 of the 2001-2002 fiscal
year, with an increase in turnover of 155%, to Eur0.97Million. It
is appropriate to remember that sales in Q2 and Q4 are usually
lower than those of Q1 and Q3, since they do not benefit from the
'launch effect' of new versions of Mandrake Linux. For example, the
new version 8.2 of Mandrake Linux was launched in the beginning of
April 2002 (Q3)..."
