"Like traveling Bible salesmen from the past, four Linux
evangelists from Red Hat Inc. will soon be hitting the road for a
two-week motor-home tour of the U.S. to spread the gospel of
Linux.
"The Red Hat Road Tour 2002 will kick off Oct. 31 in a bright
red recreational vehicle that will depart from Red Hat's
headquarters in Raleigh, N.C., and make its way around the nation
from coast to coast.
"The idea, said Mark de Visser, Red Hat's vice president of
marketing, is to connect with devoted users as well as average
Americans and tell them more about this thing called Linux..."
