Christmas is a special time of year when a certain magic is in the air. Peace, fellowship, and goodwill to all mankind... and an unsupressable urge for work to grind to a screeching halt.
Not one to go against tradition, the staff at Linux Today and LinuxPlanet are taking Christmas Day and the remainder of the week off, thus putting Linux Today into what we call "weekend mode."
This means that until Sunday, December 29, only security updates, kernel announcements, and very important stories will get posted. Talkbacks will be posted, but on a much slower basis.
So, dear reader, whatever holiday you will celebrate this season, I hope that you find your own happiness with friends and loved ones, and remember that for all our imporant works with Linux, Free, and Open software, it is these friends and family members that matter most of all.
