"In 2002, a record 6.7 million visits from more than 1.1 million
unique visitors from around the world registered over 70 million
page views, and downloaded over 1.2 million IBM Real-time
Scoreboards during the two weeks of the tournament. But most of the
public was oblivious to the effort that goes into making the
Australian Open one of the world’s most
successful tennis events.
