"Since our last processor review, Intel and AMD have both released new processors, each with a new feature. Back in November, Intel introduced the new 3.06GHz Pentium 4 with Hyper-Threading technology. This new technology allows a single processor to be treated like two processors in order to increase processing throughput. Last week, AMD introduced the new 3000+ Athlon XP based on the 'Barton' core, which brings 512KB cache to the Athlon XP. Both of these new features promise great things for computer users. Which processor will now hold the performance lead? We pair these processors up with the latest chipsets on both sides, nForce2 for AMD and E7205 for Intel. Here we go again..."
