"A couple of months back, it was all honky-dory at SCO. They were going ga-ga over Linux. Going through an identity-crisis period they called themselves Caldera for some time, in accordance with their distribution, before reverting back to SCO. Then came UnitedLinux and SCO jumped on the bandwagon along with other bigwigs.

"Then came the bolt. It was as sudden as 'Uh oh, I saw that for loop somewhere, now where... oh my God, get me headquaters.'

"Here's what followed.
