"Sun has cut a deal with the NSW Government in hopes of getting
its software on more of the state's computers.
"The NSW Department of Commerce has signed a four-year
common-use contract for the supply of Sun software, including the
entire Java system and Sun's low-cost Microsoft Office competitor,
Star Office.
"The whole-of-government contract will allow agencies to buy Sun
software from a panel of approved suppliers..."
