"A study has claimed that more of the top 1,000 most-visited websites run on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) than any other web server--including the popular open source Apache platform.

"Software developer Port80 Software admitted that its Top 1000 Corporations' Web Servers Survey, which analysed US Fortune 1000 sites, has been 'intensely debated' since its inception in January 2003..."
