"Domestic leading software and set-top-box developers, the Electronics & Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) and the Korea Institute of Multimedia Contents and Software said on February 5 that they recently set up the 'Linux IP Set-top-box Council' to join forces for developing digital home platform based on Linux program.

"Besides the two organizations, the council is participated by Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Syscomm, Tcom & dtvro, Willtek Corp., Dasan Networks, Humax and Seal Tronic Technology..."
