"In an email sent to Flexbeta.net SpecOpS Labs clarifies that
'David' is not a hoax or vaporware. 'David' is a codename for a
'middleware' application that sits on top of the Linux OS to enable
it to run Windows based programs. According to SpecOpS' email, the
overall purpose of the project is to encourage consumers to use
Linux. David is simply a product to facilitate the transition to
Linux. They mention how they are set to release in the future
another component, which is a set of tools that will encourage
developers to write native Linux applications..."
