"I first heard about AbiWord while searching for an alternative to MS Word. There have been a few good arguments against MS Word and why the whole project should be scrapped. Which brings us to this review; is AbiWord a worthy MS Word replacement? Or should users stick to the more expensive MS Word? After all, AbiWord is completely free and is available for both Windows and Linux, and as we will soon discover, AbiWord contains tons of features which should make MS Word jealous; though there are some features which AbiWord lacks, such as a grammar checker.
