"One of the world's largest providers of Linux software on
Monday said the Philippines has great potential for developing
open-source computing because Filipinos have a thorough
understanding of its value: that Linux is more cost-effective,
scalable, and has more robust architecture than proprietary
software like Microsoft Windows.
