"Since I am always looking for Linux distributions that are suitable as Windows replacements, I decided to give Xandros a try. Now, Xandros aims to be a commercial product, so its more polished release isn't available for free. Like any good Open Source operating system though, you can get it for free by downloading the Xandros Open Circulation Edition via BitTorrent.

The only real difference between the commercial version of Xandros and the free download is that the free version does not include some extra goodies. Those include a printed manual, installation support, codeweaver's cross-over office, and a second cd of extra applications and games. Pretty much all of this you can find for free if you're willing to do a little bit of work..."
