"Since I am always looking for Linux distributions that are
suitable as Windows replacements, I decided to give Xandros a try.
Now, Xandros aims to be a commercial product, so its more polished
release isn't available for free. Like any good Open Source
operating system though, you can get it for free by downloading the
Xandros Open Circulation Edition via BitTorrent.
The only real difference between the commercial version of
Xandros and the free download is that the free version does not
include some extra goodies. Those include a printed manual,
installation support, codeweaver's cross-over office, and a second
cd of extra applications and games. Pretty much all of this you can
find for free if you're willing to do a little bit of work..."
