"Anyway, I will take this limited opportunity I have with the
Linux community’s ear to just give a little
advice with regards to helping more newbies get into Linux. As a
newb* I’m all too familiar with the nightmarish
nature of a Linux install gone awry. And while many experts in
Linux, especially from user groups interested in spreading use of
the OS are well intentioned, their insight into the ways of the
newb is sadly limited, which means that they often use an
unsuitable distribution.
