"The other night I was searching for a way to grab podcast streams off the net for later consumption. I already used akregator, which is a top notch RSS feed reader, and began thinking that surely I would be able to use it for the podcasts since they are in fact just RSS feeds.

"A quick look and I realized that akregator did not support podcasts. Some searching around revealed a plugin/script for a KDE based music player called amaroK that claimed it allow for pulling down podcasts..."
