"Lately, Acer has been receiving a lot of media attention due to some of their recent OEM products. These releases range from the Altos G5350, which is the world's first AMD dual-core Opteron pedestal server, to the Ferrari 4000, which is an exclusive carbon fiber based notebook. During last year, Acer's LCD monitor market share grew a staggering 87% resulting in them becoming fourth ranked worldwide, placed behind Dell, Samsung, and Hewlett Packard for Q4-2004.
