"Maybe you already noticed that the compatibility list backend
engine has been finally updated. What you see is the first phase of
a transformation to a free (as in freedom) user submitted
compatibility database. All new submissions are automatically
licensed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public
License.
"Why the switch to a free license?
This is a user submitted compatibility list after all. I think it
is only the next logical step to allow the free distribution of the
information and knowledge contributed by the members of this
community..."
