"Recently, I spent a great deal of time and experienced a great deal of frustration trying to get a tv tuner card to work under Linux and BSD. I tried three cards manufactured by ATI, Hauppauge, and Lifeview, with little or no success. To say I was frustrated is to understate the case by a large margin!
