"I was talking today with Barry Klawans, CTO of JasperSoft, and
he said something that I found extremely interesting. We were
discussing ways to avoid being 'InnoDB'd' (i.e., have a competitor
acquire an open source project/technology upon which your own
project depends, potentially to your detriment), and went through a
list of possibilities:
- "Acquire the copyrights for every project/technology upon which
your technology depends;
- "Disregard the threat entirely..."
