"So you're not quite ready to ditch Windows altogether for that
new, tempting Linux distribution. Or there's some particular reason
why you can't make the switch 100%. Maybe you like to play games,
like myself. And I'm talking about the latest and greatest games
that will only run properly in Windows XP. What to do? Well,
there's several options available, but I want to briefly talk about
the one that's maybe not quite as commonly used.
"Most people who can't turn their back all the way on Windows
will dual boot. I've done this many times in the past, even dual
booted several Linux distributions, Windows XP and Windows Vista
Beta 1. But I quickly got tired of rebooting every time I needed to
use a Windows app. Sure, there are ways to speed this up a little
bit, by hibernating the system instead of shutting it down entirely
each time, but the core issue still exists..."
