"This tutorial first explains how GIF animations are treated by
the Gimp and then expands on that foundation by explaining how the
Gimp Animation Package takes Gimp animation to the next level. It
will explain how to install the GAP from the Redhat package--even

the Redhat package apparently leaves out, and, most importantly,
de-mystifies the GAP for creating GIF animations for the Web.
"It will be as complete as I can make it, providing a solid
foundation for understanding how the GAP treats animations and then
explaining the finer points of the package to illustrate some of
its more useful features for GIF animation. My goal is to provide a
one-stop tutorial for Gimp animation that goes from complete
beginner to intermediate knowledge that other tutorials skip or
gloss over..."
