"Is the Linux community too passionate? It seems that whenever you approach the topic of it, you unavoidably meet the hardcore fanboys. Deturmined to reject the mainstream wherever possible and sit content in their utopian world of a free operating system. Well, let me ponder on that for a moment. I would never be able to use Linux as my main OS for the reason that I like to play games, and whatever anyone says, gaming on Linux is a headache at best. So surely rejecting the mainstream market is a bad thing?

"It would appear to be so, yes. But, surely, those who develop Linux distros intend for it to (albeit) one day, be mainstream, whereas those who use it seem to have entirely different plans, and, in the wake of my previous two articles, would die before it got that far..."
