"The Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) is working with other organizations to launch a web site at drm.info that provides information about the dangers that DRM entails. Joachim Jakobs, media coordinator at FSFE, says that 'the main message of DRAM is: we do not trust your devices.' He gives the example of the Sony-BMG rootkit. While the industry says that DRM is, as the name says, about managing digital rights, Jakobs charges that it mainly focuses on restricting the rights of users, which is why the FSFE consistently speaks of Digital Restrictions Management..."
