"Microsoft's Internet Explorer still holds a commanding lead in the overall browser usage market, but Mozilla Corp.'s Firefox continues to gain share slowly and steadily, and now accounts for 12.5 percent of global browser use, according to a web metrics researcher.

"Firefox has posted half a percentage point or more gain in usage share for the third consecutive month, California-based Net Applications said today..."
