DesktopLinux: Zenwalk 4.0 Goes Gold

"The Zenwalk GNU/Linux development team today introduced
v4.0--its latest major release since v3.0 on Sept. 8--featuring a
new, stable 2.6.18.1 kernel and the Xfce desktop. This latest
version of the France-based distro, designed for i486
architectures, is now available for download.
"'The major version number reflects that X11 is updated to
version 7.1, which is a structural modification, system wide,' the
project team wrote in the release announcement. 'All X software
packages have been recompiled, including a large amount of software
in the ZenCommunity repository...'"
