"In the battle to spread the use of GNU/Linux, it is often
forgotten that education has to be the starting point. People need
to be educated to the point where they come to demand decent
behaviour from an operating system; companies need educated admins
to keep GNU/Linux systems running.
"It's the second point that I'm looking at as it tends to hamper
take-up of Linux at the corporate and semi-corporate levels. There
is a lack of properly trained administrators and it isn't going to
get better. It isn't FUD, it's true and one doesn't need a survey
to find out--just talk to people in the field..."
