"I found a link to the OLPC Linux distro live-CD and couldn't help but try it! So, here are my thoughts based on first impressions:

  • "The live-CD is a bare minimum 291 MB
  • "The entire software is based on RH Fedora Core and GNOME, but the usual GNOME interface is almost not-available
  • "The login screen is funny: it lets you type in your name and then select colors to represent yourself..."
