"To truly know when it is spring time in Michigan, you have to watch for some of the true proven signs. Such as warmer weather, the grass turning from winter brown to springtime green and the return of the robins as they fill the sky. But if you are a geek/sci-fi fan, there is one way to know when it is spring time in Michigan and that is the return of Penguicon to the Detroit Metro Area. Penguicon is a three day convention that runs from April 20th to April 22nd. It is an event that combines the interest of Linux and Open Source with Science Fiction. This year the convention was at the Troy Hilton, located in Troy, Michigan.
