"Having finally given up on the community to be able to meet my needs of reliably syncing my Pocket PC (or a Blackberry, for that matter) with my Ubuntu box, I have decided to look into some open source server options. Even though projects like Conduit look very cool, they are still working in the development stages and are still a ways off.

"This realization has brought me to a project that looks very promising called the Scalix Collaboration Platform. Designed to give MS Exchange a run for its money, I was impressed with the described features and the fact that it was using an open source license for distribution. The project is sponsored by the Scalix Corporation, and with that out of the way, let's see what we have in store for us..."
