"If you think he's exaggerating about GPLv3 being a product of a broad consensus, here's the statement by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), thanking the Free Software Foundation for considering the views of SIFMA members when drafting GPLv3. Here's a report by Sean Michael Kerner of Internet News on the Richard Stallman remarks, for those who missed the streaming video. And here's attorney Mark Radcliffe:

"'The Free Software Foundation listened to people outside its normal support base. The GPL 3 is better than the GPL 2,' said Mark Radcliffe, an intellectual property attorney with DLA Piper's Silicon Valley office, during the Linux Foundation Summit..."
