"Vector Linux SOHO edition is the big brother to Vector Linux Standard Edition and is designed to be run on more modern and powerful hardware than its little brother. For those needing a version that packs more features, more tools, and more OS, the SOHO edition provides exactly that. So let’s look at what makes the SOHO edition so much more than the Standard edition. If you haven’t already read our review of the Standard Edition (view it here) then we recommend you read that review first as this review is complimentary to our earlier review of the Standard Edition and thus will reference some things from it that you will need to know in advance to make full use of this review. Also, a key difference between the two distributions is that the Standard Edition uses the 2.6.18.5 Linux kernel and XFCE4, whereas the SOHO Edition uses the slightly newer 2.6.20.3 kernel and KDE 3.5.6, which at this point is the latest version of KDE3..."
